The new “municipal regulation for the application of the tourist tax” establishes that the tax revenue is exclusively intended to finance and promote the tourism in Ceriale. It has as well the purpose to support accommodation facilities and several kinds of works like restoration and environmental projects, cultural projects, improvement of local public services, as provided by Liguria’s “Pact for the strategic development of tourism”.

Any person staying overnight in one of the accommodation facilities in Ceriale is required to pay the tourist tax. The number of nights spent is the unit of measurement used to calculate the amount of the tax that each tourist has pay to the Municipality through the manager or the owner of the accommodation facility where he is staying. The daily rate will be always required for the first 5 days of the stay.

Concerning our Residence, the amount of the tourist tax is Euro 1,50 per night. The rate is daily and it is meant for each person, only for the first 5 days of the stay, excluding children under 12.
